Described by OnMilwaukee Magazine as a “Door County Landmark,” the Summer Kitchen is deeply nestled among thick, luscious, vibrant gardens dripping with flowers of every kind, gurgling fountains and bird baths. Every table has a beautiful view; sit outside on our sunny front porch, or inside in the main dining room, intimate gazebo or our screened-in back patio.
Every lunch and dinner includes a trip to our famous Soup Bar. If one cup of soup isn’t enough, you can order a bowl, two cups, or our “Taster’s Choice” unlimited soup bar! We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, including a full Mexican menu (featuring owners’ Nino and Armando Jauregui’s authentic family recipes) and infamous homemade pies, cinnamon rolls and giant homemade cookies.
The Jauregui brothers purchased the restaurant in 2008 after working there for 8 years. Now in their fourth season as owners, Armando is head chef, while Nino manages the restaurant. Every dish is carefully prepared with the freshest, top-quality ingredients, and is served with the kind of pride you can expect from a family business.
